| | | Article in Swedish newspaper today about SPAC's coming to Sweden (has been discussions about when for a time, now it seems to be just around the corner).
Americans' looking towards Europe in a fashion similar to how it looked at it during the craze of LBO's during 80's makes me wonder if it's too late to get in on action now that it comes to EU, or if it's now it's really getting started. Leaning heavily toward the first alt (just waiting for this bubbles RJR Nabisco...), but might still try to have some fun initially, when it comes to my home market. I felt that too many ppl played the US SPAC game, and I found out about it pretty late –– when they started writing about it in Swedish newspapers last summer/autumn –– but in Sweden, there may be some huge advantages initially, when everyone will want to get in as soon as they hear about it; might be like buying TSLA in, say, July or September –– when it looks like the bubble will burst any second, but still the last major move hasn't yet come...
Meanwhile, the Chinese are renaming 2021 The Year of the SPAC. "From now on, every year will be named not by an animal, but an financial investment vehicle", announced Minister of Finance Kha Ching. |
