Richard, the odds may be 10% for all that try to trade but it does not mean it is 10% for "you" or "I".
Saying so implies that trading is random. That it is the same as putting one black ball and 9 white balls in a hat and trying to pick the black one with one try.
Trading not only is not random but has a high skill level.

Think of it this way.How many men play basketball with the dream of playing in the NBA and how many make it?The "odds" are against them. But the ones who make it will do so because they have great skill not because of odds. The odds mean nothing to them.
