Welcome to very belated Friday! I had technical difficulties, but that’s no excuse for missing Valentines Day, Presidents Day, and yesterday.

Meanwhile, although most of the US may be freezing and under snow, many biotechs are still quite hot!

Although nobody here picked it, the stock ARTL, which used to trade an average of 4 million shares a day, suddenly spiked 71% on 250 million shares traded(!?!) for no particular reason that was publicly known last Friday, but yesterday they announced good preclinical results for a proprietary CBD cocrystal. Mind you, I tend to be cautious about preclinical results, and proprietary is another word for no patent protection, so buyer beware.

Although, as will no doubt appear when I report this weeks results, the stock BLUE is feeling blue as a patient enrolled in one of their clinical trials developed acute myeloid leukemia, and they have suspend several trials pending further research into the cause.
