Good Morning Christine,

I've barely had time to "lurk" on many of my favorite sites, let alone participate. I haven't been at the "Feelings" thread for a few days :-(

Without reading any of the posts here during that time I'm not sure what the subject matter has been..but..I have noticed a lot of discussions about Mr. Bill and I'm kind of tired of him.

As for my happiness..I have a couple of stocks that are starting to behave and "pull on my emotional investment strings." I recently bought an old reliable (St. Jude) for close to $29 and after about 10 days it has moved to around $33..my target is $38. I don't know if I mentioned it before but this stock has gone from the upper twenties to the lower 40's/upper 30's several times for me. There's also a rumor of it being a potential to be "bought out." I haven't checked it today so I better not get to "cocky." Dell has been my flag ship and continues to make me smile..I've got a feeling they may announce another 2 for 1 split. I also have a reeeaaalllll llooonnnngggg shot (at this time) GLFC..it went from .10/share up to as high as .25/share last week, the volume is starting to pick up a little and I think it's going to be my "dark horse" for 1998-99. I also own DIIG which is starting to move a little and I think this may also be the year for JMAR.

As you can see...I play all ends of the spectrum (.10/share to $98/share.) And as we all know all caveats apply (Lord knows..I wouldn't buy a stock solely on my recommendation ;-)

I guess only time will tell..but it is nice to have a week when a person can crack a smile and say...investing can be enjoyable "now and then."

Hope all is well with you. BTW..got any favorites that MAY be on the low side? Some of the corpses I've got out from under include APM and WDC (at least on the WDC I jumped after I made a 30% gain...on APM I wasn't near as lucky.)

T.R.
