Morrison Restaurants to Purchase Chix Aqua Trak Black Shoe Cover

NOGALES, Ariz.--Alpha Pro Tech Ltd. (OTC BB:APTD) announced today that Chicopee Inc., the exclusive marketing and distribution channel in North America for Chix(R) Aqua Trak Black(TM), Alpha Pro Tech's anti-slip disposable shoe covers for the food service industry, has signed an agreement to supply Morrison Restaurants Inc. (NYSE:MRN) with the shoe cover, which helps prevent slip and fall accidents in the food service industry.
Morrison Restaurants Inc. is a company with $250 million of revenues with 148 restaurants operating in 13 states located in the Southeastern and mid-Atlantic regions.
According to Morrison Restaurants, during an extensive test program of the Chix Aqua Trak Black disposable shoe cover, incidents of slip and fall were reduced. At the same time, employee acceptance of the shoecover, on a scale of 1 to 10, was rated a 9.
They not only appreciated the safety aspect of the product, but also the protection the shoe cover afforded their street shoes. Accordingly, Morrison has placed an initial 500 case order for the Chix Aqua Trak Black shoe cover.
