Hello 3, how's it going. No way I can see Dell having the ability to buy IBM, just the thought is laughable to me. I think IBM's float is now in excess of 1.2 billion shares due to the last split, so it's market cap prior to any buyout premium is around 120 billion. If anything, the buyout would work the other way around, but I don't think so, Dell's market cap is just too high....

PS - Last credible rumors on someone buying IBM occurred a couple of years ago when the stock hit a low of 40 5/8, since then the stock has quintupled...
