I understand you believe that. But historically, that just hasn't been the case. Stuxnet was necessary. Israel's secret attacks were necessary. And further maintenance probably is necessary.

I have never understood how this is even debatable when one considers what happened when Clinton did essentially the same thing with NK. Because disarming a nuclear power is at best difficult and in many cases impossible, it makes no sense to allow new entrants into the field. And yes, we should control it.

Add to that the belligerent and bellicose nature of Iran, it made zero sense to enter into ANY kind of agreement with them. And pretty much everyone other than the Obama administration fools agreed it made no sense. It felt a lot like a parting shot at the United States by its president.

I think it was one of the dumbest decisions Obama made and that is saying an awful lot.

Add to that the cash payment up front, well, you cannot make a dumber deal than that and Trump was certainly right to put the brakes on it. And now to have this fool Biden re-enter it (which well may not get through Congress), it is just a bad idea.

Why would you want to do it? Can you point to some hidden upside for the United States?
