Matt Taibbi is a far leftist like you, but lacks the inability to distinguish right from wrong, which it seems to me is an almost characteristic failing in the left. Not that you make mistakes, but that moral relativism is an attribute of leftism.
So, election theft is acceptable if it is to get rid of Trump. Which, of course, is a morally bankrupt thought process, but as far as I can tell, every one of you here who leans left subscribes to that thought process, either overtly or unthinkingly.
In your case, it would never occur to you that the righteous imperative is to support Trump even though what you did (stealing an election) is an order of magnitude worse than voting for Trump, who to you, is disgusting. I think most everyone here rolls about the same way. |
