Thanks for remembering that Moonray. I was wracking my brain trying to remember the context of 1GHz processors, because I remembered the same thing David did, but couldn't remember the details. I read that in Dvorak's column, and remembered seeing a post about it.

I fear it is this "oldtimers" disease that I used to think afflicted people older than me, until I realized that, alas, I have become one. :^(
