A basic QCOM question

OK, I am not a CDMA techie. I just have a basic question about QCOM as a brand. The super bowl commercial was all well and good, but yesterday, I was looking through the selection at cell-phone stores. I saw Nokia. I saw Ericsson. I saw Motorola. Etc. But no Qualcom phones! How is this co. going to succeed if consumers can't buy its products? Am I missing something here (like, does QCOM make some element that goes into other companies' phones, like Windows 95 goes into PC's)? If not, it looks like QCOM is losing the marketing war.

Please enlighten me,
Justin
