I haven't posted in some time...there really has been so little to say. However. Lawyers do NOT move often...none of the 60 or so I know...and esp half-way across the country. Mr. Fink must earn a living, and God knows, he ain't gettin' any from GIFT. We have no right, or voice in his move. The negative is that a new employer and new obligations (lawyers make there mark by adding clients) may put GIFT even more on the back burner than it probably already is. Face it, this is not his primo case or cause. The driving factor in any of our professional lives is MONEY, and GIFT is not showing him any. For this reason, we do have genuine worry...that our representation is less than ideal, less than VERY INTERESTED. But we have no right to expect more. This problem could lose the case, but unless someone knows a lawyer that is simply dying to take this on because they love all of us.....
