It was purchased in 1915, you can find it in The Gray Book , he worked for the railroad his entire life. The watch has the CP beaver logo on the gearworks and all the calibration records etched in the case. Both of my Grandfathers were engineers on the railroad. I found the watch in my mother's jewelry box after she died. She never realized it was a highly collectible watch because similar watches are on ebay for about $75. The similarity is skin deep, once the back of the watch is opened you can see it is a RR watch. Collectors are willing to pay several thousands of dollars for the real McCoy.
