Lotus 123 or Excel Excel was the greatest copy of the greatest software. We used to buy PC Tools from Checkpoint that allowed copying of Lotus key disks. You had to have a Lotus Key Disk in the floppy drive to use Lotus products. Lotus wasted a lot of effort and money on copy protection. Once the Evil Empire focused on your lunch the gig was usually up. I still remember Netscape Navigator with fondness for doing what it did so well.
