Yeah, I'm not holding my breath about this being a decent value or even available on their proposed timeline. The CPUs will already be a cycle or two behind by then anyway. But I appreciate their trying and if fairly priced would consider it. The idea of a modular laptop seems like a holy grail that should have been solved long ago but between lead times, and OEM agreements no one has seriously taken up the mantle. I get it, it's a dog eat dog world in the space. Perhaps Clevo laptop frames are the closest to compare to? But not really...
