Breed has billed the city's transfer of funds from law enforcement agencies as a necessary reparation for city policies that she says led to “decades of disinvestment” in Black communities.
Decades of Democrat Failures
Gee, who was running San Francisco during those "decades of disinvestment in Black communities"?
Last time I checked, San Francisco was run by DEMOCRATS for the past six decades. That includes Gavin Newsom, who is now governor of California. Is the current mayor, London Breed, now telling us that Democrats have failed African-Americans?

A Slap in the Face of Asian-Americans
Right now, Asian-Americans are under attack by a surge in hate crimes.
This particular attack, for example, became a rallying point for Asians who are fearing for their very lives. This happened JUST LAST MONTH in San Francisco:
And yet, THIS is how the mayor responds? By "defunding police"? What a terrible time to announce that!
The first priority right now is to reassure San Francisco residents, particularly the Asian-Americans, that the city is doing everything they can to reduce crime.
Instead, the mayor decided, "Hey, let's give these thugs jobs, guaranteed income, and hope for the future!"
This is nothing less than gross negligence. This is nothing less than a slap in the face of Asian-Americans who want MORE police on the street, not more "social workers."

Finally, I noticed that the mayor went out of her way to avoid using the phrase "defund police" even though this is exactly what "defunding the police" looks like. Reduce funding for law enforcement and redirect the money toward social programs.
