And her house members, under the leadership of Pelosi and Barney, had refused to regulate them after close to 20 appeals by the Bush Administration to dump the uncontrolled government guarantee. Investors were getting market returns with what were effectively government backed securities. And Frank had told Bush, “I don’t see a problem, and if I do, we will fix it then.” So it was HER problem. If she truly wanted to protect constituents she would have told him to STFU. Unreal. She bailed her own stupid mistake and you respect her for that? Thanks for nothing!
