"Western Australia is the most attractive jurisdiction in the world for mining investment followed by Finland (2nd) and the U.S. state of Nevada (3 rd), according to the Annual Survey of Mining Companies released today by the Fraser Institute, an independent, non-partisan Canadian policy think-tank."
"Rounding out the top 10 jurisdictions are Alaska (4), Portugal (5), South Australia (6), the Republic of Ireland (7) Idaho (8), Arizona (9) and Sweden (10). For the first time in 10 years, no Canadian jurisdiction made the top 10."
Worth noting the worst list too... Mali at 68 right between Nicaragua and the Congo (DRC) has an attractive gold project some are pushing out there, while claiming Mali is great... only Tanzania worse than Argentina, which has a couple of projects, gold, silver, zinc, being touted...
I don't think I have much in Aussieland on my lists now... know of a few... but Finland ahead of Nevada... and Sweden in the top ten are a surprise to me...
Peru has some spectacular projects... but have heard rumblings of concerns... I'll have to check that out.
