Tonto, do you know anything about the mechanics behind trading naked shares? I asked this question before but nobody really seemed to know. Let's say a bought 1 share that had been shorted naked. I call for the cert for this particular share. Will the person who illegally shorted this particular share have to come up with a valid cert? I believe a person who legally shorts stock must have the cert available just incase the cert is called. Buster
