PI at MS Conference - 3/2/21 Remote fireside chat with CEO and CFO. Mostly review, but picked up a few things. - The increased pace of activity that began in November has continued in Q1. - Reader IC's are their highest GM product. - The large loss prevention win they announced recently and expect to deploy in Q2 is a European based retailer. - Their nearest IC competitor is also on the 300mm wafer and they still have a 2x die/wafer advantage. - The transition to the M700 will be faster than normal, due to both availability and to increased performance and features.. - Referred to RAIN RFID as the "life raft" for omnichannel retail delivery. - Expect just in time automotive parts in auto production to be an emerging item level tagging opportunity. - Food remains the holy grail, and even a small movement in that area will have a huge impact on the industry.
