There is very little evidence showing, close to zero actually, and lot of hypothetical talk from Jordan Peccia.
So the face mask is supposed to protect you from getting the virus?? Hmmm that’s a new one. Most health professionals don’t even attempt that line of bullchit anymore. You do know how big a virus is yes? Are people allowed to touch a mask after it been worn for a few seconds??

I would say Jordan is more likely to be reaching for a grant from the Bill and Malinda Gates foundation going by his story so far.
Is SARS-CoV-2 the only virus out there? The discussion by your guy seems to suggest it is, and we don’t have to worry about any other virus that is caught in the mask.
According to this paper, there is more than one type of virus out there, and they have been around a while.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that we inhale SARS-CoV-2 viruses ??? I am not sure we know even that. Please do note that over 60 years old people have a better then 99.5% chance of NOT getting a severe form of Covid19 illness. Maybe those viruses are already helping our immune system protect ourselves ?? It not like there are no other viruses in the air, and we never breath any in. I mean really !!!

So your guy talks about water droplets. Bigger droplets have more viruses in them. OK seems like a sensible train of thought. What about rain drops? How many viruses can fit into those things,and what happens if they splash on your head? It not as if there are no viruses in the air already.

So you wake up in the morning, not having breathed in any viruses overnight, and you decide to walk outside, you put on a mask to stop some person close by from transmitting a virus to you. What about the zillion billion viruses that came down into your household overnight, many of those viruses originating from Covid19 laden nations ???
