FWIW, the Doc I bought my practice from bred German Shepherds for the police force and was heavily involved with Schutzhund training (not sure if I spelled that correct). Anyway he regularly added vit C to their food from a young age and I remember him saying he had never had a single case of hip displasia.

Figured I'd pass that along. This is Silver...my daughters.
