You are correct. He does claim his exit strategy is subjective. I like his discussions on trailing stops. If you're sitting with a 1 1/2 point gain, it may be a good idea to set your stop at a 1 point gain, then move it up as the stock rises.

I do not do any of his trades. I'm currently investigating a career in trading. Since I have a full time job now, I can only make the picks the night before and see how they would have done during the day.

I thought the 5 Day Momentum Method would be great for me, but I can't seem to get the average 1 5/8 gain per trade that Jeff seems to get. I only get about 1/4 gain per trade (with $20 commissions, 1/8 point slippage, and 1000 shares).
