OK, so maybe no one can verify I was the first person to ever send a private message to myself. So, how about this... Am I the first person on SI to ever use the word "mulligatawny" in a sentence and/or post a recipe for it? ===== Mulligatawny Soup Directions (borrowed from the Joy of Cooking) Saut‚ lightly, but do not brown: « cup diced onion 1 diced carrot 2 diced ribs celery in: ¬ cup butter Stir in: 1« Tablespoons flour 2 teaspoons curry powder Stir and cook them about 3 minutes.
