Seems a bit remarkable to see how many companies icahn gets involved in that are mentioned on this board. Icahn also does a lot of averaging down. I have followed him into two stocks that has turned out well for me. I am sorry that I did not follow him into another where i could have made several times my initial investment. IEP is a ,major holding of mine and contributor to my cash flow so I think long and hard about adding something that icahn has a large stake in. The markets response to powells remarks seems very strange. what did they expect him to say ? even more mystifying to me is that stocks that are paying good dividends would decline in response and that silver would go down. I continue to be heavily invested. Take my lumps on a day like today. and keep clipping coupons and selling some calls. I did reduce my twitter position to a stub amount. keeping all my pot and spac warrant exposure.
