Paul, from my limited sales/marketing perspective, this is as important as any of the other higher profile announcements. A great company will, like it or not, embrace what the marketplace gives them, they will adapt and exceed competitors in response to what the consumer demands. Way back when, the US automobile industry lost the sub-compact segment to Japan, and many of us drive the result of their decision to ignore the consumer. It appears that Intel learned this lesson very well and will defend this market segment with the same vigor as they do the high end. MHO, VERY good news for long term investors, Intel isn't asleep at the wheel. John
