Seems to me that Canada's contention that the US was mismanaging the covid crisis is what caused the border to be closed in the first place. Therefore, it stands to reason that once all of you get vaccinated, that ban will be lifted. Once the ban is lifted, you should return the favor and bar travel in the other direction... at least for a few hours. :)
