Thanks for your reply Dan. Let me expand on that and say SI is like a small town. Many people talk a lot and are well known - each for whatever is their speciality. Other people are very quiet and just like to listen to the others talking. But occasionally they hopefully also feel the urge to contribute something they might know a little bit more about than the average reader. So we can all learn from each other. That's what it's about here.

When I started many years ago I was only interested in high growth technology stocks. Now my subjectmarks include an income forum, a dividend forum, a health forum and even a "laughter is the best medicine" forum which is needed some days. So I would encourage new members to check out the most active forums to see what might be of interest. And the "I love fishing" forum is not active but definitely interesting when something worthwhile pops up there - if you like fishing. Welcome and enjoy our community!
