there are public piers that cost nothing to embark / disembark, and their are lots of places open can drop anchor for free

maintenance hassles probably an issue except for the enthusiasts

imagine one can likely make a business out of it renting by the week for staycations

am guessing 36-months payback all-in including running cost assuming marketing done right, and especially if CoVid an on-going protocol

Given that the ferries have been operated for decades, imagine the life of the boat considerably longer than average boats - they do not build them like the way the used to, like battle ships
