Mine is the Kohler 14RESA. It can use NG or propane and I have a NG hookup. Did some work myself and then had an electrician and plumber hook it up.

At the time I could only afford the 14 versus the 20 (to add the AC & a few other items). I'm thinking of upgrading but I may also sell the house so I'm still in the thinking mode.

Its an insurance policy you hope to not have to use. I did this after Hurricane Irene in 2011 when we lost power for 7 days. Due to supply I don't think I had this set up till summer of 2013. We occasionally lose power for a few hours but last summer we had another event when we lost power for 6 days.
