As much as I do not like to talk about stocks,

One thing about CDO is, unlike other stocks that I own/have owned, it is true that part of the corporate philosophy is that upper management should have a stake in the future of the company.

I dumped a NJ Utility I owned for years because with the exception of Josh Weston of ADP and some dude who is the chairman of AIRCO I actually owned more stock than any given outsider on the Board of Directors.

Not so at CDO. Part of the payment for being a director is in stock. So an outside director has a vested interest in the success of the company downstream.

This was my understanding as of about 18 months ago. Today's news item does not persuade me to think that policy has changed.
