Cut a 1 inch groove in the concrete floor with a german saw and bring copper pipe or pex into the island.

Put an ice machine on one end and place the hot water heater next to it.

Any mason can cut the concrete groove and a plumber can sweat it in. Then fill it in with self leveling concrete.

Tap water from sink , dishwasher, fridge.

That would be neat!
