If anyone thinks Bush's WMD lies were the beginning I think they're delusional. IMO, Reagan was the master con artist, telling people he believed in all sorts of things, like balanced budgets while he was creating the largest deficits in history. It's been down hill since then with the media rolling over and letting them lie about Whitewater, WMDs, repeal and replace, death panels, and so much more. Lying defines this generation of republicans. I think this is why they're so angry. A generation is dying off and it has nothing to show for it. The media helping them lie is not new. Trump's lies were headline news every single day. He lost control because of Covid. If Covid hadn't happened he'd have won by a landslide. He's a dictator and they love dictators.
