wP:

This is imo typical for many small, thinly traded, biotechs.i.e. the stock go down on no news as investors lose interest on no news. Then if and when some good news is announced, it perks up for a short while, only to drift down again. Sometimes there is a sharp drop on no news; many things can "cause" this because the trading is so thin; it may be really bad news, mildly bad news (like not getting a hoped for deal), or misunderstood developments. Sorry I don't have any specifics for you; I find its really hard to evaluate some of these companies.
