Script Data Week ending 1/25 (which includes MLK Day) New 9,328 down 1% Refills 4,416 down 4.5% Total 13,744 down 2.2% Partial explanation for slight decrease could be product being diverted to UK market! As for an update on Friday's open house, I will not have a complete report till earliest Tues night. Some initial comments were as follows: 1. New facility is "very impressive" with 1 line running, 3 more being completed with total capacity of 8 lines. 2. New facility will allow VVUS to manufacture MUSE at a far lower cost per unit. These economies of scale will probably lead to "EARNINGS INCREASES" once the new facility is approved! 3. VVUS mgmt has indicated very confidently that MCA approval is "ON TRACT" for APPROVAL early March. (IMO this could occur as early as late Feb.)! 4. Several analysts from MAJOR WALL ST. FIRMS were in attendance and new coverage is not unlikely. 5. One analyst in particular will probably "UPGRADE THE STOCK" very soon. 6. VVUS is producing MUSE "at risk" at the new facility!!
