Finally got some good trading blocks in VLNC today. A couple 10k + went through and they looked like buys (as the price went up around the time of the trade).
Someone on Yahoo message threads started a rumor that Sony was speculated to buy out VLNC for $32/share. THe integrity of that thread is very suspect, but is always good to mine for some good scoop now and then.
Also, there was a note that AT&T is announcing a very long lasting battery on their PCS cellphones and speculation trying to figure out who the supplier is. THoughts?
So, whether the conf. call is 2/9 or 2/17, the bottom line is that it's only 2 weeks away. Good news is that the stock action has had a positive bias as of late. Of course, in todays trading, if you have a stock that didn't go up, then you're in the wrong stock! (I have one, Sports Authority! Long term turnaround story.)
FMK, good to see your back and contributing more. In hindsight, I could have sold my shares back in Dec, taken the tax loss, and gotten in much lower now. Oh well, live and learn.
