This news does sound very positive indeed. This may very well be the type of person who due to his background at EMC, can take keepering to the next level. I still believe that KM will be commercially licensed in the near future. "Testing" has been going on for way too long; a no response would certainly have been heard by now. I would not be surprised if when an announcement is made, the drive manufacturer(s?) make a parallel announcement that their drives for the '97 product cycle will include KM. AXC is being very secretive and I believe its being done this way inorder to get maximum impact from the announcement. The new sales VP through his experience and contacts will then hopefully be able to expand licensing agreements to other drive manufacturers who will not want to get left behind.
