Georgia voters in mostly Black precincts often have to wait significantly longer to vote—sometimes up to five hours—than voters in mostly white precincts.

That didn’t just happen — Republican voter suppression made it so.

And on Thursday, Georgia Republicans didn’t just sign a law that could make these lines even longer, they made it a crime to give food or water to people waiting in line to cast their ballot.

Republicans are dead set on making it harder to vote. We’ll be there fighting their suppression every step of the way — in court and at the ballot box.
