George,

I am sure that at some point the decision by an individual or the Board of Directors has to come as a surprise, to even some of the people Gombrich has worked closely worked with. As such I do believe it would be allowable, (given the circumstances), to grant a certain amount of time for the Board and the new CEO to absorb the evidently sudden and transitory change before making any additional remarks via Dana. I am just as interested and concerned as the next shareholder to find out the reason why...but..

The cards read for themselves. The fact remains, Gombrich is out and Lavallee is in. The devil and the details remain to be surmised. Whatever the reason...whoever decided what and for what ever reason...the Company remains AccuMed International, Inc. The explanations at this point may only soothe the feeling of betrayl that we as shareholders may feel because we did not have an idea this was happening.

Tell me...how should one break this news gently? Obviously Gombrich could have stated that he was planning on resigning and was looking to groom a new successor...but that didn't happen. The fact that the BOD quickly appointed Mr. Lavallee as CEO/President, not an interim CEO, (until a replacement could be found) tells me something.

Again the cards read, and that in and by itself tells us something. The cards also tell us Gombrich has been appointed a position on the Board. So...we know three things for sure. One-Gombrich is no longer CEO. Two-Lavallee is the new CEO. Three-Gombrich is still associated with the Company via his placement on the Board.
