Bob -

Pointed out that remedial cost must be expensed. Therefore cost has a direct effect on net. She sees market not reflecting this until second-half.

Hopefully this is NOT news that Y2K is a current period expense.

Given our inane love affair for "performance" as shown in bogus financial numbers, it's been widely known that companies have been holding back on attacking Y2K because of what such unanticipated spending would do on the all holy bottom line... to say nothing of personal bonuses. <meow>
