Bzooka, actually, fast stochastic is the name of the game right now for almost ALL stocks!
I did some system testing, and I was amazed. It's kind of unusual for one indicator to be this good, but for the past few months, this has been the case - you could look at the fast stochastic and ignore everthing else.
Now, I'm not real big on system testing, but I wanted to verify what I felt I was seeing.
Of course, I suppose that's because the market has been basically trendless. You get an actual trend, and things get dicey with stochastics, as they can stay overbought or oversold for quite some time, dance back and forth across the signal lines, etc.
It's probably time for things to change, so the fast stochastic will probably now become useless. :) |
