Here is more on Don Wood's resignation...Metricom Inc. (MCOM) METRICOM INC. said Donald Wood resigned as president, to join Palo Alto, Calif.-based Vanguard Venture Partners to focus investments in telecommunications and information technology. The company was not immediately available to discuss plans for naming a successor. The company also announced that Vulcan Ventures Inc., the investment organization for Paul G. Allen, has completed its purchase of 4.65 million shares of Metricom common stock. The $55.8 million transaction raises Vulcan's interest in Metricom to 49.5 percent.
