Fred, I have been in and out of GDB for a couple of years, and currently am the proud owner of few thousand worthless bits of paper. I paid a slightly higer price for it than its at now (I think it was about $0.40). So you can imagine how happy pleased I am with this one. I am pretty negative on the stock right now. I phoned the company a few months ago, and wasn't really reassured by what I heard. Dealing with the Khasaks is apparently very difficult. I have not seen any press releases from the company so it looks like nothing has changed over there. Lots of bigger companies have had difficulties over there. I was talking to a geologist working over there who doubts that any companies working in Khazakstan will atually be able to make any money there. But, for some reason I still own this stock. I think that this one is a long shot though. Regards, John Sladek
