Of course now, let's not all forget the milestone payments and further collaborations/licensing and when ATIII contract manufacturing (maybe?)...and lots more licensing.

ATIII is the flagship and I'll be damned if GZTC goes broke before they at least achieve their final approval for it. I certainly would think that if they were even near broke, a BIG pharmaceutical would come in ie. (hint) Genzyme or who knows maybe even Merck or Smithline, or Glaxo (you get the point...)This concept is a very very lucrative one to say the least.

After the approval of ATIII approval of later products will be cake mainly because the FDA will speed up review for drugs derived from milk when there is increased credibility in the process. Remember ATIII will be filed as an NDA so it will take a while before it's all said and done.

Mr. Root, one thing to keep in mind when investing in biotechs are inevitable cash burners and many fail along the way. The trick is to mitigate risks by finding co.'s in special circumstances who are being guided by a watchful hand ie GZTC. Keep in mind Genzyme owns approximately 44% os outstanding shares. In accounting terms, this is influential non-controlling interest and must be reported on GENZ's books as a fraction of their income. They wouldn't want to muck up their numbers if it wasn't worth it.

Good Luck to all...for interesting biotech companies for anyone who's interested check out the following

NXCO (Neurex Corp) - Pain drug stronger than morphine and with few if any side effects in Phase III trials. Hefty coverage from top notch firms on the street and a drug for hypertension just hit the market. Great Company!

SUPG(Supergen Inc) - The ultimate model for biotech companies founded by the cofounder of Amgen (Dr. Rubinfield). Larry Ellison (CEO Oracle) has an investment group which is the majority shareholder through two private placements. Talk about mitigating risks in biotechs...this company is it!

HIV(Cel-Sci Corp) - Potential AIDS vaccine? Potential blockbuster cancer products? Potential herpes vaccine? This company goes after the big targets and appears to be having some success. A long-shot which could be one of the greatest home-run stocks in the history of investing. Check it out if you are interested.

Well...that's it

Good Luck and Good Trading
