Here we go...

The S&P futures have and the VIX more than fully walked back the Friday afternoon spike in the S&P, while the SPY has only walked back half ? Why that matters is less important, I think, than HOW that matters... as the linkages between derivatives positions is engaged in manipulating the underlying...

The same tools applied in manipulating gold and silver prices... are employed in other things... and, new, to me today, is evidence of linkages between the derivatives employed in "the fraud"...

The risk inherent in the Friday events... is less in the overall impacts in particular shares... and more about ripples transmitted not through "price" in shares... but through "risk" in derivatives... and it is that which has the big players working hard right now to shed risk...

This story exposes the "on steroids" nature of the leverage employed and how it obviates "the rules" in reporting, without doing over much in linking it in the one instance to the larger systemic risks that the failure in one instance clearly puts on the table:
