[Just for the record]

Jim --

You'll be pleased to know TI, led by George Barber and Greg Waters, hosted a group of analysts and media at a meeting in Santa Fe, NM, last Tuesday and from what I hear, they went away quite impressed. Check out last week's stock action and you'll see what I mean. I have no idea how long it will take them to write up their impressions, but I do suspect it'll happen and when it does Amati's DMT will deserve a good part of the credit.

Did I hear a sigh? I thought so. Well, ol' Moneypenny let out a long sigh herself. "Yep," she said, "they wouldn't do it for Amati but they'll do it for TI."

Life has a way of fooling you, doesn't it. Pick a winner and someone else carries it over the finish line. Well, I'm not complaining. I'm letting TXN carry my ADSL banner for now and I don't think I'll be sorry.

The education I got along the way couldn't be had at any price. And the friendships --- whoa --- that's another story! :)

Cheers!

Pat
