I remember wondering why they were waiting so long for Dan to take over, but don't remember exactly when it was scheduled.

I believe that Dan Bongino was chosen to permanently replace Rush Limbaugh, but perhaps something happened change the plans.

However, this was published one day ago - see the very last paragraph in italics:

Dan taking over the air ways slot is not taking over for Rush. His show is still airing and they feature current news along with clips from Rush expounding on similar circumstances.

There uis some sort of memorial service on Rush's web site immediately after the broadcast on Friday. I think there will be blips from the real President.
