Thanks for the response. I've followed NN from time to time and been enormously impressed with Terence Matthews. In my mind he's right up there with John Chambers and Andy Grove. As for Ascend falling in sympathy, I don't see it happening primarily b/c NN's fall is in an area that has nothing to do with them. I would expect the positive comments re: ATM to benefit the networkers, if anything.

Since NN was halted about a half hour before the close, I would have expected to see the networkers drop then and to my knowledge they didn't.

Of course, I've never understood what makes the market move on a daily basis, so I could be way out in left field.

I'll be watching at the open and in the days that follow.
