Hi Frank

They did the surgery immediately and removed the tumour, which was then sent for biopsy. He got the result last night....it was benign...a big relief to him and his family.

Now he has to recover from the incision. They had stapled his incision and under the staples there was a buildup of liquid,,,not blood. He has bee back to hospital to relive the pressure and fluid. He was advised to avoid the hospital because COVID is around there. He went to a store and bought a bunch of adult "depends" diapers. He feels a bit better now he knows what is going on.

I hope your younger brother has good luck. I am told that a tumour that has not penetrated the intestine wall is over 90% curable but if it penetrates the intestine wall it is virtually 100% fatal....they cannot operate because the tumour winds around other organs making surgery impossible. we were worried because my mother died of this kind of cancer (she never had a colonoscopy in her life).

Anyway, good luck for your brother, I hope all works out well for him.
