1) where was the “organization”? I saw anything but. Organization would imply a group of people working with a common focus. You didn’t see that

The Trump campaign; the Republican party.

2) Where was the effort to “defeat their government or ruler”? Please be precise.

The various efforts to stop the certification of Biden's election win, those in the states and, most critically, Pence's final certification on the day in question there in the Capitol building that was being stormed, you know, the one with the noose outside.

3) Where was the plan to take control of the country? No such effort existed, or if it did, it was amongst a small group of independent actors adhering to a well defined plan. They were doing what protestors do—making noise.

Ditto, point two. It was about overthrowing the elected leader, which effectively takes control of the country. Two aspects of the same thing.

I do think MSNBC and CNN (particularly) are awfully misusing this concept and I’m surprised if you were actually sucked in by it. I think you’re pulling my leg.

In a previous post I mentioned stretching and spinning and framing. Those are all short of lies. The color of words expresses our frameworks.

So, if you're talking about the forest in which the event at the Capitol on January 6 is a tree, then the word, insurrection, is a valid frame as I describe above.

If you're talking about just the event of January 6, one of the trees, I think you can reasonably frame it by using the word "protest" because that's what a lot of dim people thought they were doing.

There is no way you can justify calling the event at the Capitol a "peaceful protest" as you have been doing. That's either just flat out duplicitous or delusional depending on your state of mind and your intent.
