Do you have a better explanation for an autopsy report on Sicknick, which would have been completed no later than Jan 31, not having been released to the public? Or the name of the cop who murdered Ashli Baggett not having been released?


Yes, I think. The above folks like to keep their cards close to the vest and not show their hands. It is more important to them (and to us, surely) that they be able to make criminal cases or deter terrorists going forward than to satisfy your curiosity.

As for Occam and his Razor, surely the simplest explanation for who is managing the disposition of certain information is the party in charge of that particular stovepipe, not the leader of some other stovepipe. Occam would cringe at the notion that you would tag your most hated person rather than the party with authority over the the salient bailiwick.
